Chemistry has been my life’s passion since I was 12. I graduated from I Liceum in Sieradz (Biology-Chemistry profile). I began studies at the Faculty of Chemistry of Lodz University of Technology in 1999, majoring in Chemistry. From my second year, I followed an individual study track under Prof. Tadeusz Gajda at the Institute of Organic Chemistry. In 2004, I earned my MSc with distinction in bioactive compounds chemistry and began doctoral studies. In 2006, I interned at the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain. In 2009, I received with distinction a doctorate in chemistry, specialization: organic chemistry. I gained research and professional experience as a synthetic and medicinal chemist at Selvita, TriMen Chemicals, and Arendi, developing innovative small-molecule drugs. Since 2015, I have worked at the biotechnological company Molecure in Łódź as Principal Scientist. For seven years, I led the arginase inhibitor program. The inhibitor OATD-02 obtained in these studies is now in Phase I clinical trials for cancer immunotherapy in patients with advanced cancer. Since 2024, I have been Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Molecure. In 2025, I became a doctor habilitated in chemistry. I am a co-author of 23 scientific publications and 8 patents.
