If you would like to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the “Power of Community” mentoring programme, please read the application rules and join us! Below you will find all the necessary steps to participate in the programme.
The recruitment of mentees for the Programme takes place via two parallel pathways:
through the nomination of candidates by the authorities of the nine faculties of Lodz University of Technology and IFE – an inter-faculty unit;
through an open call for candidates.
Under the first pathway, 20 students will be selected – two candidates from each of the nine faculties of Lodz University of Technology and two candidates from IFE The number of candidates from a given faculty and IFE may not exceed 2 people.
The nomination made by the authorities of the Faculty of Lodz University of Technology or IFE
Under this qualification pathway for admission to the Programme, the candidate:
- is nominated by the relevant authorities of the Faculty or the IFE,
- meets the conditions set out in the Regulations,
- is qualified for the Programme on the basis of the nomination made,
- receives information about admission to the Programme as a Mentee.
Application through an open call for candidates
Under this pathway:
1. Make sure you meet the requirements
The programme is open to adult students of Lodz University of Technology, regardless of the field of study, level (first and second cycle, doctoral students) and mode of study. We pay attention to student activity and candidate achievements, so it is worth emphasizing your commitment and special achievements. Please read the Programme Rules.
2. Fill out the application form
Download the Application Form. Be sure to fill it out completely and in detail.
3. Submit the application form and consents
After completing the form, send it to the programme's e-mail address: mentoring@info.p.lodz.pl. Please note that applications are only accepted from official university domains: edu.p.lodz.pl, dokt.p.lodz.pl or p.lodz.pl.
4.Wait for verification and decision
The recruitment process for students (Mentees) is carried out in two stages. First, applicants complete an application form, which will be evaluated by a Committee consisting of Career Office staff of Lodz University of Technology. Candidates selected in this stage will be invited to a short online interview (via MS Teams). The final ranking list of Mentees will be announced in accordance with the Program Schedule.
5.Choose your preferred mentor
At the time of acceptance into the Programme, we will ask you to nominate three preferred mentors. While we will try to accommodate your preferences, the final selection of mentoring pairs will be made by the Organizers.
6.Application deadlines
The “Strength of Community” programme in the academic year 2026/2027 runs from October 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026. Detailed information about the recruitment schedule and application deadlines can be found on our website – Schedule.
