The programme is intended for adult students of Lodz University of Technology, regardless of the field, mode or level of study (doctoral candidates are also welcome). During the recruitment process, we particularly appreciate students who demonstrate achievements, student activity and a desire to develop.
Qualification for the programme is determined by evaluation of the application form. The Admissions Committee analyzes applications based on academic commitment, achievement, and motivation to participate in the programme. A ranking list is then created to select participants.
If you would like to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the “Power of Community” mentoring programme, please read the application rules – all information can be found here.
During the recruitment process, you will be able to nominate three preferred mentors. While we will try to accommodate your preferences, the final selection of mentoring pairs is at the discretion of the programme organizer, who strives to optimally match mentors and mentees.
You and your mentor determine the frequency of meetings during your first meeting. The minimum time allocated for mentoring sessions is 6 hours during the programme, but the method of implementation and the number of meetings depend on individual arrangements and the availability of both parties.
Participation in the project is free of charge.
No, the programme allows for flexible forms of meetings – both online and offline. The choice of meeting place and form is up to you and your Mentor, so you can tailor your cooperation to your preferences and availability.
If a situation prevents you from continuing to participate, please inform the Careers Office. We will work to find a solution, but withdrawing from the programme during the process may impact your future ability to participate in other mentoring initiatives.
