I am a graduate of economics and civil engineering. I started my career in the construction industry— for over 15 years I co-managed a family renovation and construction company. At the same time, I worked at Lodz University of Technology as a research and teaching staff member, and was a doctoral candidate. My next job was at an Italian building materials company, where I gained experience as a technical manager for a product line. After 20 years in the construction industry, I decided to change career paths—I became a purchasing operations specialist at Danfoss Poland. For more than 3 years I managed a 12-person, international, distributed team in the indirect procurement department at Danfoss's shared services center. I am now a Digital Manager in a global team, leading projects to improve procurement and Procure to Pay processes. I am fluent in English and Italian, speak very good German, and am currently learning French. In my spare time, I enjoy a good read, walks, swimming, and traveling with art, culture, and history in the background.
