I completed a first degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Computer Science at Lodz University of Technology, as well as a parallel first degree in Computer Science at the University of Lodz. I completed my master's studies under the Erasmus Mundus program in Computer Simulations for Science and Engineering at TU Delft and TU Berlin (double degree). I then returned to Lodz to start doctoral studies in Construction and Operation of Machines. I conducted research on the application of isogeometric analysis to compressible flow simulations and geometry optimization of flow channels based on this method. After completing my PhD, I worked for several months as an adjunct at the Institute of Flow Machines, where I had been involved since my undergraduate studies. I participated in research projects and contract works, mainly concerning simulations and optimizations in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics. After leaving the university, I started working as a senior programmer and later as an expert in the innovation centre at the Lodz branch of Hexagon, where I have worked for about 2.5 years.
